We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Dispatch Manager to join a well-established and rapidly growing business in a role with great progression and potential in our HTA Facility.

Reporting to our Head of Operations, our CellNass Dispatch Manager will be responsible for the effective management of our Human Tissue Archiving Facility and will provide the support, leadership and energy required to ensure our CellNass operational team meets the expectations of archiving and retrieval accuracy first time, every time.

Based at our head office site in Newtown, Powys, Mid Wales this role will be key to fostering an environment of continuous improvement, good working practices and a cohesive team effort culture. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain and develop the CellNass HTA Facility to ensure customer and stakeholder satisfaction through speed, accuracy, flexibility, reliability, cost and recall time. 
  • Lead and manage a strong CellNass team, implementing new processes and ensuring the facility runs to full efficiency. 
  • Achieve on-time realisation of recalls, uplifts and packing for customers. 
  • Ensure CellNass process parameters, procedures and work instructions are followed, maintained and improved on a continuous basis. 
  • Develop team members in line with their career paths and future business growth 
  • Support a strong Quality and Health and Safety culture 
  • Develop and implement appropriate KPIs to support continuous improvement 
  • Participate and contribute to the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial performance.

Knowledge and Experience: 

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar or transferable role
  • Degree qualification or equivalent relevant qualifications 
  • Flexibility to undertake travel is a requirement of the role
  • Knowledge of archiving processes and procedures is desirable 
  • Proven experience of account management 
  • Awareness of the requirements of HTA is desirable
