Full Stack Software Engineer (Python / React) Belfast-based employer | Permanent | Hybrid/Remote A growing tech-led business is seeking a proactive Full Stack Software Engineer to work across its platform, covering backend, web, and mobile applications. This role suits a problem-solver who enjoys working across a modern, diverse tech stack. The Role Design, build, and enhance features for web and mobile applications Shape product features using customer and internal feedback Write tests, fix bugs, and maintain high code quality Review pull requests and collaborate on technical decisions Prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines Show initiative, a strong “can do” attitude, and a willingness to learn Build positive working relationships and contribute to a respectful team culture Required Experience Minimum 4 years’ professional experience as a Software Engineer Strong commercial experience with Python and React Good working knowledge of SQL, HTML, and CSS Experience with frameworks such as Flask, Django, SQLAlchemy, TanStack, React Query is advantageous Preferred: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Bonus: Experience with AWS infrastructure Tech Environment Backend: Python (Flask) Web: React Mobile: React Native Database: Postgres Cache: Redis Infrastructure & IaC: AWS, Terraform You do not need experience in every technology listed, but you must be proactive and comfortable learning new tools and concepts quickly.
