Assess existing control system configurations at client sites.
Interpret client specifications and develop software programs.
Create and program SCADA systems to monitor and control renewable energy installations.
Design and program PLCs to automate processes and optimize energy usage.
Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning.
Interface with suppliers, manage technical queries, and approve design changes.
Supervise and mentor junior engineering staff.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.
~5+ years of experience in BMS design, with a focus on renewable energy integration.
~ High level of expertise in the design and programming of SCADA monitoring and PLC controls
~ Strong project management skills and the ability to lead a team.
~ Experience of the creationand programming of SCADA systems to monitor and control renewable energy installationsin a Building Management Systems context
Experience of design and programming PLCs to automate processes and optimize energy usage in a Building Management Systems context
~ Technical understanding of CHP, refrigeration, air source, ground source heat pumps,HVAC, boilers, biomass, solar, BESS, or energy centres with mechanical plants.
