Title: Unit Head - Private Banking
Location: London
Our client is a modern, agile investment management company offering UHNI & HNI clients an end-to-end investment product suite and bespoke solutions. The UK management is made up of a team of experienced Private Bankers who have held senior positions and worked together as a highly successful unit within one of the UK’s leading banks. From a global perspective, the firm’s founder is the ex-Co Head of one of the world’s largest Investment Banks.
They have a global presence with offices in the UAE, Singapore and are now looking to scale their UK business by hiring a unit head to their existing team.
Job Description:
This is a player-manager position; the successful candidate will have two core line of responsibility:
- Develop, grow and manage the firm’s HNW UK proposition – including remit to hire and grow a team of RMs.
- Onboard and oversee a book of private clients within the same market segment.
For the right candidate, this position presents the opportunity to take a leading role in developing a new market segment for an established global firm.
This position will require:
- Previous experience managing and hiring for a team.
- Network of HNW clients in the UK market and track record of client acquisition.
- Understanding of open architecture model, and the advantages it can offer to clients.
