Reporting into the Director of Commissioning for Adult Social Care you will be responsible for strategic Policies within a Local Authority.

About the Head of Policy role:
  • Day to day management of 3 Direct reports
  • Navigate through an impending restructure
  • Develop and implement a range of polices across Adult Social Care
  • Consistently measure outcomes and review the cause and effect for better outcomes for end users
Your previous experience as a Head of Policy:
  • You must have policy experience within a Local Authority
  • Strong political acumen
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement communication style, being able to negotiate and influence
  • Substantial Adult Social Care experience
  • Policy experience, from writing, to embedding to ensuring they are adhered to and pushing for continuous improvement
