The role could be based in Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds or Lowestoft The pay rate would be up to £41 an hour Working Hours - Full time preferred but may consider part time applicants. This is hybrid working Duration : ASAP - Ongoing Apply now or refer a friend for £500. Role is county wide so office base could be West Suffolk House (Bury) or Riverside (Lowestoft) if preferred Yes – we can be flexible. Candidate will be expected to work from office for team meeting etc but no requirement to be regularly based in office The aim of the role is to maximise the quality of life and increase independence for the children and young people DCYP supports. As well as to enhance safety for the children and young people by providing specialist equipment and adaptations and supporting parents and carers in their caring roles. You will provide high quality occupational therapy assessments of need within the local authorities statutory responsibility. These assessments will take place in the home environment for children and young people with complex disabilities. Assessments are carried out to identify difficulties and solutions are explored to overcome them through advice and information; the provision of equipment; minor / major adaptations and liaison with professionals from health and education. You will work closely with wider organisations such as Housing organisations and Community Equipment Services.
