Head of Tendering & Pre-Construction Knebworth

The role will head up the Utility Line's Tendering & Pre-Construction departments, working on full turnkey electrical projects throughout the UK. In this role you will lead the Tendering and Pre-Construction Teams throughout the initial stages of projects from initial enquiries in all the way through to handover at Pre-Construction. Support the team with the scope of new project enquiries
Ensure existing leads and outstanding tenders are followed up by the Bid Team and act as support if/when required to make adjustments to win new projects
Ensure the timely handover of won projects to the Pre-Construction teams
 
Act as a contact with our customers to handle all escalated issues relating to pre-construction and receiving feedback on our performance to
Deliver supportive business communication through advice, review, leadership and direct contribution to management team meetings, briefing and correspondence
Identify and implement performance improvement processes
Monthly and ad-hoc reporting on your business functions
Forecast project delivery timescales to support operational delivery planning
 
  Do you possess strong commercial acumen and understanding of contract types and procurement routes?
