We are currently recruiting for one of our trusted clients who are looking for a QA Tester. Join a bespoke IT consultancy specialising in Infrastructure-oriented projects on behalf of the Government Defence and Security Sector.

Key Responsibilities as a QA Tester

  • Involved in the development of a diverse range of projects.
  • Active part of the development team.
  • Helping shape and expand Agile working practices.
  • Working with complex systems and applications.
  • Analyse requirements and user stories and help provide acceptance criteria.
  • Feed into non-functional testing requirements.
  • Exploratory testing.
  • Communication with the development team and project stakeholders.
  • Reporting on test outcomes at the level required for the project.
  • Test gap analysis – identifying scenarios to be tested and/or automated
  • Ensuring quality of products as they move from prototype / proof of concept into Production.

Core Experience and Skills

  • A passion for testing - Automation / Performance / API / Security
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with Agile methodology and exploratory testing
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Working knowledge of testing tools and test management software
  • Versatility, analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Willingness to undergo Security Clearance.
