Please not that weekend availability is required with this role.
As a PC24 Assistant Operations Manager, you will work as part of the community care management team responsible for providing operational leadership however, contributing to overall service performance.
You will be responsible for the operational direct line management of a multi-disciplinary team working across multiple services within our community services portfolio, in addition you will oversee the day-to-day operations, including safe staffing levels, supporting the achievement of contractual performance and quality KPIs.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure effective operational management of direct reports including clinical personnel, including sickness management, performance management, annual leave requests and appraisals in line with organisational policies
- Provide a visible presence for staff during times of service delivery
- Ensure regular team meetings and briefings are delivered
- Oversee of the rota for your services
- Monitor service KPIs and to implement agreed corrective measures
- Ensure performance targets and KPIs are understood by all staff
About you
- Educated to degree level or equivalent work-based experience
- Leadership attributes, acting as a role model with the ability to assess others’ skills, coach and develop personnel where appropriate
- Ability to develop, coach and motivate personnel to work to their full potential
- Capability to work under pressure and to tight and often changing deadlines
- Available to work weekends hours
- Ability to travel across sites within the Liverpool and Southport areas
- UK driving licence and a vehicle is advantageous but not essential
