Job Description:

Owing to continued success, DPS are looking to recruit a Project Engineer to join our business in Glenrothes. The primary responsibility of the project engineer is to oversee the technical aspects of projects that have been given to them and complete scheduled projects on time, within budget, and as per specifications, while ensuring the highest level of Health and Safety over the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of technical projects requiring collaboration across each DPS Group department
  • Manage personnel, budgets, and project planning to meet project expectations
  • Minimize Health & Safety, Financial, or Technical risks associated with a project
  • Client liaison throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assist in maintaining Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001)
  • Collaborate with Vendors and DPS Group departments
  • Build and develop positive relationships with customers
  • Development of technical specifications and Health and Safety documentation

Qualifications:

  • Electrical Engineer/ Electronic Engineer/ Control Systems Engineer/Mechatronics degree qualified or equivalent experience with recognized Apprenticeship
  • Demonstrable experience delivering EC&I Projects
  • Experience in delivering projects to a high standard
