Hi Our client is a well respected organisation and they are looking for an organised and proactive Estates Supervisor to support the Estates Manager with the day to day running of multiple sites. This role oversees maintenance, caretaking and cleaning teams, ensuring work is delivered efficiently, safely and to a high standard. It is a great opportunity for someone with strong operational experience who enjoys leading teams and managing buildings and facilities. As an Estates Supervisor, you will: • Supervise the day to day work of maintenance and caretaking staff via the Estates Helpdesk system, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, cost effectively and within agreed timeframes • Oversee the work of the cleaning team, ensuring services are delivered effectively and economically • Support reviews and updates to the Planned Preventative Maintenance programme • Prepare specifications, contract documents and architectural drawings for procurement and tendering • Respond to Fire and Intruder Alarm activations outside normal working hours • Arrange the movement and safe transport of goods and furniture between sites • Place orders, check invoices and approve payments for goods, materials and contracted services • Monitor and oversee contractors to ensure work meets required specifications and standards • Assist with sketch plans for small building or refurbishment projects • Make recommendations to improve site and building security • Promote a positive Health and Safety culture and carry out inspections or investigations when required • Suggest training and development opportunities for Estates staff • Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by management What we’re looking for: • Experience supervising maintenance, caretaking or facilities teams • Strong understanding of building maintenance, Health and Safety and compliance • Ability to prepare specifications, documentation and basic drawings for tenders • Confident managing contractors and ensuring work meets required standards • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams What we offer: • A supportive and collaborative working environment • Opportunities for professional development • The chance to contribute to the smooth running and safety of multiple sites • Employee benefits package
