Tech Lead / Senior Engineer – Brighton

Brighton, Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Salary: £60k to £65k pa

Our client are pioneers in content automation solutions, leveraging cutting-edge AI technology to transform how businesses create content.

After securing significant funding, they are poised to take their proven solutions to new heights and need a skilled Technical Lead to guide their development efforts.

The Technical Lead will be instrumental in architecting and deploying their primary software solutions, driving technical excellence, and providing leadership within their development team.

This role requires a solid technical background in React, Node.js, Python, and MongoDB, as well as a strategic approach to problem-solving and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Architecture: Lead the design and deployment of scalable systems using best practices.
  • Technical Strategy: Work closely with Product teams to align technical strategies with business objectives.
  • Development Oversight: Manage and optimise the development process, ensuring high-quality outputs.
  • Team Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to the development team, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Technology Integration: Stay at the cutting edge of technology, incorporating AI/ML technologies and frameworks to enhance product capabilities.
  • Problem Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges and streamline processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to define technical needs and ensure seamless integration of solutions.

Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience as a Technical Lead or in a similar leadership role.
  • Proficiency in React, Node.js, Python, and MongoDB.
  • Deep understanding of server environments and cloud solutions.
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • A proactive, innovative mindset focused on continuous learning and improvement.
