This position is within Broadstone’s Insurance, Regulatory and Risk Consulting team, which is home to a seasoned team of subject matter experts including experienced actuaries, financial modellers, data analysts, systems developers and redress specialists. Our business has over 30 years of experience supporting a wide range of financial institutions covering a range of complex and specialist areas.

Senior Consultant & Actuary – the role:

A unique opportunity for an experienced and commercially minded (qualified) actuary who is looking for their next challenge. It is ideally suited to someone with either a commercial and product development experience of life products or an understanding of how a wide range of pension and investment products operate together with an advanced understanding of regulation affecting pension and investment products.

Senior Consultant & Actuary – key responsibilities:

  • Sign-off of reports for the calculation of redress
  • Explaining calculations and methodologies to other teams
  • Delivery of many types of work to clients

Senior Consultant & Actuary – you:

  • Experience in managing both existing and prospective client relationships
  • A strong understanding of how final salary pension schemes and other pension products work
  • Previous experience of regulatory led business revies and remediation projects would be advantageous
