We are working with a leading, global manufacturing business in Wolverhampton who are looking for an engaging and fresh-thinking Engineering Manager to take the lead in managing and developing the site based engineers and the engineering activity within the facility.

As a budget holder for the Engineering team, this role will offer you the opportunity to not only lead the day-to-day activities, but also get involved in the conception and execution of a variety of exciting site projects. This is an exhilarating time for the facility as they are actively receiving investment to update machinery and processes, including the introduction of automation and robotics to maximise production efficiency.

As the Engineering Manager you will be getting involved in:

* Coaching, mentoring and engaging the Engineering team.

* Develop and drive the preventative maintenance strategy, processes and actions throughout the plant.

* Drive and lead projects relating to capital equipment.

* Previous experience within a high-volume / fast-paced manufacturing facility

* Previous experience as either an Engineering Manager / Maintenance Manager or experience in a Maintenance Team Leader / maintenance supervisor position with the hunger to progress into a management position
