We have an excellent opportunity to join Muller at our Market Drayton head office as a Customs Controller for a fixed term of 12 months. You will help collate data, verify information and liaise with colleagues & third parties for the timely submission of Imports & Exports Customs declarations. The shift pattern for this role is 5 over 7 days, 40 hours per week onsite at Market Drayton working up to 2 weekends a month.
Combine data on the daily exports and prepare paperwork for the Official Vets to inspect export loads and obtain the relevant Export health Certificates.
• Import licences - monitor expected deliveries and work with senior colleagues to ensure appropriate licences are in place.
• Continuous monitoring of UK Global Tariff and documenting any changes
• UK Customs Academy courses will be provided as well as job specific training.
• Good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Flexible, responsive and resourceful when reacting to changing work demands
