  • Compiling data from a variety of suppliers for import
  • Checking invoices for accuracy
  • Dealing with suppliers for any documentation amendments
  • Acting as the main point of contact for al hauliers and agents for customs clearance
  • Organising shipments to and from third party contractors
  • Arranging export shipping documentation i.e – customs invoice, packing list, certificate of origin
Knowledge & Experience
  • Proven previous experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of UK road haulage
  • Awareness of dangerous goods regulations
  • Knowledge of oversized shipment requirements
  • Familiar with movement of items related to the mechanical engineering industry
  • Good working knowledge of ERP systems
