You’ll support our continuing growth in the North East and North West of England, with opportunities to work on a wide range of projects, including Technical Due Diligence and Forensic Surveying commissions, across different sectors. Senior Building Surveyor Job Description:
Carry out site surveys (including measured surveys, condition surveys and defect analysis)
Assist with administering building contracts
Work on all aspects of professional surveying (including condition surveys, specific defect analysis, party wall matters, dilapidations, access audits and FRAs)
Liaise with clients, contractors and other consultants (internal and external)
Assist the team leader with project finances, recruitment, mentoring and team leadership.
BSc in Building Surveying or equivalent
Have several years’ experience of advising on commercial properties either in a Building Surveying or Building Control environment
Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
Good AutoCAD skills and ability to work with new software and platforms to improve efficiency
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to demonstrate flexible approach to work and willingness to travel/stay away from home for periods as may be required.
