As a functional skills English & Maths tutor working at HMP Pentonville, you will play a crucial role in helping our learners develop essential skills that will serve them throughout their lives. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons, tailoring your teaching to meet the needs of each individual learner. Your passion for education and dedication to our learners' success will make you an asset to our team. This is a full time, permanent roles, 37 hours per week over 4.Monday - Thursday 8:00 to 5:00 with a 13:00 finish on a Friday. All planning and marking are done on site within the working hours and there is not a requirement to complete any additional extra-curricular activities apart from within your working day.

Develop and deliver high-quality lessons across functional skills English & Maths.
A teaching qualification OR subject specialist qualification at Level 4 (Level 5 - new standards)
Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
History of effective teaching in subject specialism
