ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

MPI are currently looking for a Electrical Technician for our client in Saffron Walden who can provide component repairs to a wide range of commercial aircraft operators including Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, ATR and Bombardier. Created with the vision of innovating and improving the reliability of aircraft components to reduce costs and adding value. Based in Saffron Walden, England and Waterford, Ireland, our client has ambitious growth plans which involve recruiting, developing and retaining the best engineering talent.

We are seeking a full time Electrical Technician to join our team based in Wendens Ambo, near Saffron Walden. The role holder will report to the Electrical and Avionics Team Leader and the primary purpose of the job will be to test, repair and overhaul a range of aircraft components in order to reduce costs and add value to our customers.

Test, repair and Overhaul of Aircraft components, such as NAV lights, power supplies, ballast units, control units, VHF COMM panels, ovens and water boilers.

Meets workshop quality and housekeeping standards

Ensures all activity and works delivered meets the Company quality standards

Ideally, the successful candidate will be an experienced Electronics Technician with an aviation or similar engineering background. You will also have an understanding of technical publications and knowledge of Commercial Aerospace working practices. A recognised engineering qualification such as BTEC, BNC, ONC or HNC/HND is essential. IT literate with the ability to use Word and Excel and a willingness to learn an industry software package (Aerotrac). Competitive Salary
