Pastry Chef

Job Title: Pastry Chef (full time) ** Immediate Start Available** We are looking for an experienced and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and creating delicious treats, as well as a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of cakes and bread from scratch, following recipes and instructions from the head baker, and ensuring that all products are prepared in a timely manner. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves to bake and wants to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Following recipes and instructions for baking pastries and bread. Preparing doughs, batters, and fillings for pastries. Decorating cakes, pies, and other desserts with icing, sprinkles, and other toppings. Monitoring the baking process to ensure that pastries are cooked properly. Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment. Ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality. Providing holiday cover for the delivery drivers. You must have: Minimum of two years experience in a bakery production role Excellent ability working independently and as part of a team Organised and capable of multi-tasking with exceptional attention to detail A passion for artisan baking, breads, pastries, and cakes High standards of personal hygiene and personal appearance Exceptional communication skills Excellent time management The role also includes an element of driving and a full clean driving licence is required.
