Based at the Head Office in London, the Global Revenue and Distribution Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the Head of Global Revenue Management, the Central Revenue Management Team, and Corinthia Hotels in optimizing revenue and fostering a revenue management culture across the brand. Reporting to the Global Revenue & Distribution Manager, this analytical role involves a diverse range of responsibilities and tasks aimed at maximizing room revenue, ensuring rate parity, maintaining revenue audit accuracy, assisting with pre-openings, conducting thorough data analysis, and monitoring pricing across various distributio channels.
As the primary point of contact for hotel-based revenue teams regarding SynXis and the Tableau BI Tool, the Global Revenue and Distribution Analyst plays a pivotal role in facilitating effective communication and collaboration between different departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting Tools and Tableau BI: Conduct thorough data analysis, oversee the availability of revenue reports, and manage initial inquiries for report requests.
SynXis: Act as the main point of contact, serving as the primary liaison between hotel based revenue teams and SynXis.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure effective utilization of SynXis platform for revenue optimization.
Training and Support: Assist in creating and conducting hands-on training sessions on SynXis, Opera Cloud, Tableau, and other revenue management tools.
Content Management: Collaborate closely with Marketing to oversee current and upcoming projects concerning hotel content across all distribution channels.
Duties And Responsibilities:
Act as key user of the BI tools – Tableau and R&A. Utilize Tableau and R&A to extract, analyse, and interpret data.
Assist in collecting, compiling, and analysing data from various sources, PMS, CRS, IDeaS and market research.
Generate regular reports on revenue performance, distribution channel effectiveness, and market trends. Customize reports as needed to meet the specific requirements.
Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on revenue performance and trends
Be the point of contact for SynXis troubleshooting (in addition to SynXis customer service team).
Maintain the integrity of SynXis contents by regularly auditing and updating information as needed.
Support the hotel-based revenue teams to maintain Opera and SynXis systems aligned to the Corinthia standards.
Provide guidance to hotels on the effective use of revenue management systems, including Opera and SynXis.
Conduct regular property checks to ensure rate parity across every channel.
Assist in setting up the Revenue and Distribution processes, developing standards and procedures
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Revenue Management, hotel-based Revenue and Reservations Teams, IT, Operations, Loyalty and Sales, to address necessary issues.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency regarding revenue management initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to revenue management.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in revenue management practices.
Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies related to revenue management and distribution. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes to enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Economics or other relevant areas
A minimum of two years relevant work experience
Knowledge of hotel systems
Proficient with reporting tools and Excel
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Comfortable with Revenue Management systems
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
Strategic mindset, and proficiency in revenue management systems
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Conceptualizing strategies: sees patterns and trends; thinks outside the box, sees the big picture
Strong data management and analysis skills including ability to establish data management platforms
Experience working in a multicultural environment
Excellent organizational with ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Ability to productively interact with a wide range and level of staff and stakeholders
Strong computer competency with work processing, spreadsheets and other IT skills
