Principal Backend Software Engineer

Working closely with product managers, you will be solving problems that have the potential to change the lives of millions of students and teachers across the globe.

You will work closely with the site reliability engineering teams to ensure the solution is robust and scalable.

~8+ years of strong programming skills in Java, Go, or similar languages.
~ Understanding of database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
~ Experience with source control systems and continuous integration/deployment.
~ Ability to mentor and coach junior engineers.
~ Desire to learn new things and to help others learn too.
~ Experience building highly scalable backend web services, dealing with low latency API services, scaling them.
~ Cloud technologies such as AWS.
