Eurovia Specialist Treatments (EST) are currently recruiting for a Contract Manager to oversee activities in our south west region. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Contract Manager will be responsible for
Duties
- Build and maintain valuable client relationships with all internal and external clients across the region. These include local authorities, National Highways and Tier 1 Contractors
- Responsible for the day to day operation of contracts and direct control of Supervisors, Agents, Permit Coordinator and Supply Chain Partners.
- Set up and monitor the various programmes required to deliver works.
- Create a business unit culture that ensures all employees feel valued, empowered and motivated to deliver a profitable business that is highly respected by all stakeholders for its quality of service delivery and professionalism
- Produce budget forecasts throughout the year, deliver against budgets, turnover, profitability and ensure payments are made within agreed timescales.
- Support the Operations Manager in achieving commercial, safety and productivity targets for the region.
- Assist the Operations Manager with seeking business development opportunities within the region
- Liaise with the Fleet and Plant department when and where necessary.
Person Specification
- Previous experience working as a Manager in a Specialist Contracting, surfacing or a Highways related role is essential.
- Thorough understanding of full P&L responsibility
- A formal qualification in a construction or civil engineering related subject is advantageous
