Perform stick welding to join metal components
- Measure and cut sheet metal to specified dimensions
- Requirements``` - Experience in plating or related field preferred - Proficient in stick welding techniques - Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes - Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate hand and power tools - Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
As a Plater, you will be responsible for operating hand and power tools, tack welding, and fabricating metal parts. You will work with sections and sheet metal, assemble components, and utilize your mechanical knowledge to ensure accurate measurements and calculations. The ideal candidate will have experience in plating or a related field, possess welding skills, and be proficient in using hand and power tools. Safety certifications - CCNSG Safety Passport or similar (CSCS)
Overtime and weekends, as required
