Junior Accountant Location: Grimsby
Working Hours: Monday -Friday 8:30AM-5PM
Join 2 Sisters Food Group , one of the UK's largest food manufacturers, with an annual turnover exceeding £3 billion and approximately 13,000 employees across 16 sites. We have a strong presence in poultry, chilled, and bakery food categories.
Our Recipe Dish site in Grimsby, a state-of-the-art CIP plant producing premium quality chilled soups and sauces. As a Junior Accountant, you will work within a team of four and you will work closely with our Finance Manager contributing to month-end activities, audits, budgeting, and wider financial operations.
Complete balance sheet reconciliations and related financial requests
Assist with Group finance audits, ensuring accurate and timely information
Manage debt position and review claims to ensure records are kept up to date
Support capex projects, ensuring correct documentation and accurate system updates
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has already gained experience in a similar finance role and is ready to take the next step in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
You'll bring strong attention to detail and a genuine enthusiasm for a career in finance.
AAT qualifications or above
Demonstrable experience in a similar finance or accounting role
