Job Title: Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services)
They are a team of passionate and experienced mechanical, electrical, and low-carbon engineers based in the UK. Working collaboratively with clients, they aim to tackle the most significant challenges in the building services industry with a focus on sustainability.
Their clientele represents diverse sectors such as healthcare, education, residential, commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, zero-carbon, and the public sector. Through research-led design, innovation, and sustainable practices, they craft bespoke solutions tailored to meet client needs while contributing positively to the environment and achieving net-zero carbon goals.
The organisation thrives on its people, who are spread across 12 office locations, totalling over 240 employees. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, youll play a crucial role in our client team, enjoying a significant level of independence. Theyre seeking someone who is meticulously organised, adaptable, ambitious, and adept at planning ahead to uphold high-quality work standards within tight deadlines. Additionally, you should possess leadership skills to oversee and mentor junior team members in electrical engineering aspects of projects. Leading designated projects as the Project Leader
* Collaborating within larger project teams
* Elevating the teams technical prowess in electrical engineering
* Tackling diverse, challenging projects across various sectors
* Engaging with clients throughout all project phases, from inception to completion
* Our client seek candidates with a degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering, ideally chartered or working towards it. Consideration will also be given to candidates with an HNC or HND paired with appropriate design experience.
* You should have a minimum of 3-4 years of post-qualification experience in building services design.
* Experience in software design utilising the Microsoft suite, Relux/Dialux, Amtech, and Revit is preferred.
* Familiarity with British and European Standards, Building Regulations, and HTM's would be advantageous.
* An appreciation of mechanical engineering to effectively contribute to interdisciplinary meetings is valued.
