We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.Salary: Circa £59,000 depending on experienceWhat you’ll be doing:· Safety Management System development and maintenance/process updates· Production and maintenance of Safety Management Plans· Production and maintenance of Combat System Safety Engineering Analysis· Safety Requirements Management· Hazard Log Management· DSJ and supporting safety deliverables production· Team Management – Monitoring progress· Following the programmatic schedule, and meeting milestones and resolving issuesYour skills and experiences:Essential:· Experience within a defence domain/background· Degree qualified or equivalent experience within Safety Engineering· Experience in managing a teamDesirable:· Conversant and experienced in carrying out Functional Safety Analysis to open standards e.g., IEC 61508· Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership in a professional institution· Working to Defence Standards, e.g., Def Stan 00-056 or Def Stan 00-055Benefits:You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
