Senior Engineering Process Operator
Salary: £43,217 per annum plus 35% shift allowance and generous benefits package
Hours: 42 hours per week
Location: Belfast, BT3As a Senior Engineering Process Operator you'll be pushing for innovative solutions to create a more sustainable future for all.
Duties (but not limited to)
Monitor and control all automated Sludge treatment and incineration processes on a 24/7 basis, providing seamless coverage via implementation of effective shift changeover and communication procedures.
Operate in accordance with Best Operational Practice to ensure targets are met. Monitor environmental emissions and adjust operation and dosing to maintain compliance.
Effective communication with contractors, maintenance team and sludge clients on a daily basis to ensure all are aware of current status.
Ensure that all plant defects are reported accurately. Respond to all incidents, escalating as appropriate.
Timely reporting of events/accidents to Line Manager.
Manage timely provision of all bulk consumables, spares, and other materials.
Appropriate records kept on all chemical deliveries.
Site Security
Housekeeping in all areas to be monitored and improvements implemented where necessary.
Tool work when requested.Essential criteria:
NVQ process control, electrical or mechanical qualification
Minimum 2 years exposure working in a continuous process environment, preferably with experience of working shifts
IT literate Able to operate, or train to operate a variety of mobile equipment and fixed plant equipment.
Able to work a continuous rotating shift pattern
Desirable:
Knowledge of waste incineration, Pressure Systems, Boiler Operations would be advantageous
