Hours of therole

  • Full-time (Monday – Friday), Permanent.
  • Monday – Thurs: 07.30 – 17.00hrs; Friday: 07.30-15.30hrs.

Salary

£43,000 per annum + overtime = discretionary PRP bonus(Salary review annually)

Our client hasestablished a global reputation as the world’s foremost designer,manufacturer and installer of some of the world’s largest doors,ranging from fire station doors, through aircraft hangar doors andon up to 70 metre high doors for rocket launchingfacilities.

TheRole

Vacancies havearisen within our client business for TWO additional IndustrialDoor Engineers to carry out the following primaryfunctions:

  • Routine maintenance ofdoor installations (the vast majority of which are our ownproducts).
  • Occasional repair / partsreplacement on door installations.
  • Completingonline service reports for finished works and recommendations toour Service team for any further works.

Our clients site is based in Biggleswade but ideallycandidates would be located in the following areas:

  • The M3 Corridor to cover works into CentralLondon and down to the South West of England and the ChannelIslands.
  • North of Biggleswade to cover thenorthern half of the country and into Scotland.

CandidateProfile

  • Atleast 5 years' experience in maintaining other types of industrialdoor (such as Roller Shutters, High Speed Doors, Sectional Doors,Sliding Gates etc.) or possibly with a lift engineer or overheadcrane engineer background.
  • Ability to readengineering drawings.
  • 18th Edition /Electrical qualifications.
  • IPAF/DHF-trained.
  • CSCS Card(s) witha strong understanding of working safely.
  • FullUK Driving Licence.
  • Positive and conscientiousattitude with a team player mentality.
  • Goodlevel verbal and written communication skills.
