SEN Teacher Key Responsibilities:

Specialised Teaching: Deliver tailored lessons and interventions to meet the individual needs of students with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and other learning disabilities.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other professionals, setting specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) targets.
Promote inclusive practices within the classroom and the wider school environment, ensuring all students have access to a broad and balanced curriculum.
Collaboration: Work closely with teaching assistants, other teachers, and external professionals to provide comprehensive support to students, sharing best practices and resources.SEN Teacher Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Hold QTS and have significant experience teaching primary-aged children with special educational needs.
Special Needs Experience: Demonstrate a strong understanding of various special educational needs and effective strategies for teaching and supporting students with SEN.
Experience in developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team.
