Our School is a renowned educational institution committed to providing outstanding education and support to students with a range of complex needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in our inclusive learning environment, collaborating with a team of professionals to enhance the educational experience of our students.

Responsibilities:

Provide support to students with special educational needs in a classroom setting.
Assist with planning and delivering engaging and interactive lessons, under the guidance of the class teacher.
Adapt teaching materials and activities to meet individual needs, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all students.
Support students with personal care and additional requirements, fostering independence and promoting a positive learning environment.
Forge positive relationships with students, promoting their emotional well-being and academic progress.
Collaborate with the class teacher, therapists, and other professionals to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs).

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with complex needs.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
