Join our two-year Graduate Scheme and kickstart your career with hands-on experience, expert mentorship, and a tailored development plan. You’ll work on a variety of real-world projects, develop both technical and professional skills, and be encouraged to share your ideas and shape your future.
We’re seeking talented graduates to join our Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Sustainability team in Abingdon, London or Cardiff . You’ll work alongside our experienced team and contribute to delivery of some of the most exciting projects in the UK and internationally, including offshore and onshore wind farms, solar and battery storage projects, airports and data centres. We provide you with opportunities to work on some of the largest infrastructure projects across a range of sectors.
You’ll be joining a collaborative team of EIA and sustainability professionals within a high-performing consultancy with a reputation for technical excellence.
As a Graduate Consultant, you’ll gain hands-on experience in all aspects of EIA and sustainability, working on projects for clients across a range of sectors, including large scale renewable projects.
You’ll be working within a multi-disciplinary environment with highly experienced and collaborative colleagues, including leading industry experts in our climate change, planning, landscape, ecology, heritage, health and transport teams.
Working as a key part of a larger team to support on large-scale multi-disciplinary projects.
Working independently to produce high quality data analysis and reporting.
Attending project meetings with topic teams and internal and external clients.
Managing client programmes, including complex survey programmes.
Review of deliverables for quality, in preparation for client or legal review.
Working with our digital and design teams to further develop our capacity in digital EIA.
Mentorship & support: Benefit from a blend of formal training, project-based learning, and self-directed study.
Central induction and ongoing support from your line manager and mentor.

You will have opportunities to progress and opportunities to develop specific technical skills according to your individual rate of progress and your topic/techncail areas of interest.
As part of the scheme, you’ll have access to the CMI Foundation Chartered Manager pathway through flexible, online Bite Size programs. Choose from a range of topics—including Managing Change, Leading in a Digital Age, Conflict Resolution, Project Management, and Data-Driven Decision Making—to build your leadership and management skills.
You will need to have excellent writing skills, be able to work collaboratively and have the ability to work with others. A good eye for detail is essential as is strong problem-solving skills, helping to address client concerns and ‘make complex easy’.
