Depending on the specific projects the roles may require periods of time to be spent at other Thales sites, Customer sites or integration and test facilities.

The role holder reports to the Systems Engineering Discipline Manager.

To ensure, with the support of Specialty Engineering experts & Safety/HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) stakeholders
That candidate solutions meet regulatory requirements including all applicable standards and legislation. That solution designs take into account the contractual requirements
Development of design elements to meet the required performance within the overall system
Leading the engineering IVVQ team and be the lead interface for IVVQ activities with sub-contractors and test houses
Experience in IVVQ definition in the System design and development stage of complex hardware and software systems
Establishes priorities within the IVVQ activities and report on risks
Perform or organise testing on the manufacturer’s site or at the customer’s premises or at an Environmental Test Facility.
Understanding of MBSE and implementation and toolsets such as Capella, Rhapsody or Enterprise Architect.
Ability to use, for the purpose of collaborative work with hardware engineers, CAD packages such as Creo, Catia or Solid works
Possesses knowledge of the fundamentals of Model Based Systems Engineering and SysML.
