Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has an exciting opportunity for an Underwriting Technician in London, who will have responsibility for ensuring the Casualty & Accident and Health (A&H) Underwriting teams are suitably enabled to transact business effectively, through accurate timely and complete recording of data, investigation of issues and relevant engagement with external & internal stakeholders. The Underwriting Technician will be a key driver of task migration to our operational support area through identifying suitable tasks, training and feedback. Assist underwriters with account recording workflow management
Draft Submissions and quotes in conjunction with Underwriter on our policy management system (Source)
Support management in producing and monitoring portfolio
Ideally 2 years commercial insurance experience preferred
Understanding of underwriting practices throughout the policy life cycle
Excellent competency in MS Office applications
