Location: We operate a flexible, hybrid working environment with the candidate required to an Arqiva office up to twice a month

Role Type: This role is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract

Install, test, analyse, troubleshoot and modify new network equipment and solutions to achieve maximum performance and availability

* Provide technical knowledge to the development and deployment of service infrastructure, driving improved technical and service performance

* Design and drive processes to facilitate smooth and seamless deployment of new services, including documenting engineering build procedures and contribute to the continuous improvement of policies, processes and procedures

* Supervise the delivery of 3rd party suppliers and contractors to ensure that delivery specifications and standards meet Arqiva requirements.

* Standardise equipment and configuration to minimise disruption and achieve straightforward integration with existing networks/infrastructure,

* Adopt the role of Design Authority (DA) in area of expertise to ensure the delivery of the end-to-end network design for complex projects

* Significant experience of designing, building, development testing and implementing complex IP network equipment and systems.

* Experience of technical processes, standards and engineering practices related to area of expertise.

Strong knowledge of technologies involved in IP Networking

* Thorough understanding of networking routing and switching protocols to include but not limited to, BGP, BFD and SNMPv3

Coding in Python (classes, functions, data types, control flow), including use of standard libraries such as regular expressions (to parse output from devices into useful data) and file reading/writing (CSV/JSON) (for feeding input data and then creating output reports).
