Hays are delighted to represent a top tier UK law firm, currently recruiting for a corporate lawyer to join their dynamic national corporate team in Belfast.

Your new role
You will join a team with a fantastic reputation for providing technically excellent advice combined with commerciality and pragmatism. Duties include:• Advising clients on corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings.
• Drafting and negotiating legal documents, such as share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and articles of association.
• Conducting due diligence and risk assessments related to corporate transactions.
• Providing legal guidance on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory issues.
• Representing clients in negotiations and meetings with other parties.
• Collaborating with other practice areas, such as tax, employment, and intellectual property, to provide comprehensive legal advice.

What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful candidate, you will be:• Qualified solicitor (1-5 years PQE)with a strong academic background and relevant post-qualification experience.
• Experience in corporate law, ideally gained at a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex transactions.
• Commercial awareness and business acumen.
