Pipefitters are required to join the team and their Glasgow site; this is on a full time and permanent basis. Pip Fitter Duties: Fabricating and installing pipework systems in large and small-bore pipework using different materials (copper, cuni and carbon steel) Using a range of hand tools & mechanical equipment to cut, bend, braze, solder and weld pipes Installing utilities aboard ships including sinks, showers, and toilets Pipe Fitter Requirements: Trade papers - formal apprenticeship (ability to provide papers) Current knowledge and experience of pipe manufacture and installation, and use of associated equipment Clear understanding of SHE risks awareness Understanding of manufacturing processes Comfortable working in confined spaces and or at height Safety certification - SHE induction, COSHH awareness, working at height etc Pipe Fitter Shifts: Monday

Thursday: Time and a 3rd Friday: Time and a half for the first 4 hours, and double time for anything thereafter Saturday: Time and a half Sunday: Double time
