We are working with a growing MSP in Gloucester who are seeking a Technical Lead in a newly created role. This role will work closely with the Directors taking on the technical ownership for their clients with a real focus on project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage technical projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Provide expert guidance and support on Windows Server, M365, Azure, and Fortinet solutions.
  • Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of client IT systems.
  • Act as a technical point of escalation for complex issues, providing advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Mentor and develop a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their technical requirements and deliver customized IT solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in IT security, compliance, and data protection.

What Experience do you need?

  • Extensive experience in a technical lead role within an MSP environment.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server, including installation, configuration, and management.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, including administration and support.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure technologies, including cloud infrastructure, services, and administration.
  • Solid understanding of Fortinet products, including firewalls and network security solutions.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering complex IT projects.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Microsoft 365 Certified, Azure Certifications, and Fortinet NSE are highly desirable.
