JOB PURPOSE:

Brio Leisure has an exciting opportunity to recruit into a newly created role within our Leisure Operations management structure, Centre Manager. We have a position available overseeing Neston Recreation Centre & Ellesmere Port Sports Village. The successful applicants will work closely with their Area General Manager to deliver the strategic objectives within our company business action plan.

As a Centre Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the leisure centre(s) and your team, health and safety, building maintenance and compliance, financial planning and budget management.

We are a leisure and wellbeing service provider, delivering activities within our facilities but also out in the heart of our community. The successful applicants will have excellent communication and partnership development skills, enabling them to nurture existing partnerships but also develop new ones and establish innovative ways of working together.

You will lead by example by creating and demonstrating a positive work culture that is focused on people’s safety, customer excellence and exceptional services.As a company, we believe our people are at the heart of everything we do, and we are looking for a Centre Manager who will coach, motivate but support our people to help them be the best they can be. 

What skills & experiences do you need?

• A degree in business/leisure or able to demonstrate 5 years’ experience working within a large multipurpose leisure facility.

• Experience working with financial data, such as budgets, P&L’s.

• Able to demonstrate services created & implemented to improve commercial performance.

• Able to demonstrate where they have been able to identify and engage with key partners and stakeholders to positively support the wellbeing within a borough.A knowledge of procurement and safety regulations.

• Have a passion for the sector we work in and the desire to make a positive difference to our workforce, customers, and local residents’ lives.
