Acting as a vital cog in Arqiva’s business culture the Senior Product Manager will be market facing, customer focussed and with a growth mindset. The role will also require an ability to dive deep into detailed requirements and specifications to ensure development, delivery, operations and other business functions are positioned to make products a success. The role is multi-faceted and critical giving an opportunity to influence the business and industry at a senior level.
Operating within the Media Product Management team, the Senior Product Manager for Media Services will have product management responsibility for software, cloud-based and online products for delivering Broadcast, IP, OTT and VOD services. A key part of this role is driving the transition, within Arqiva and our customers, from traditional managed services to dynamic, cloud-based, SaaS and web services and supporting the growth in cloud solutions and VOD and OTT distribution.

Manage new product development and roadmaps for products in their business or technology area, incl. product discovery with customers and prospects, competitor analysis, market analysis, trend watching and act as the product owner within the product development team
Support Sales to win new and retain business including RFP responses and sales calls. Experience acting as a strategic product owner/lead in a cross functional product development process
Experience in specifying business and technical product requirements and supporting the break down of requirements into technical delivery tasks
Experience in development of B2B SaaS products with customer centric UI/UX approaches
Experience in customer facing engagements providing sales support, capturing market feedback and requirements and evangelising products and portfolios
Knowledge of major broadcast and OTT encoding and distribution technologies
Working knowledge of waterfall and agile product development methodologies
Working knowledge of the commercial drivers for broadcast and media sector (segments, customers, competitors)
Knowledge of OTT and VOD processing services including transcoding, packaging, encryption and metadata transformation
Knowledge of Content Distribution Networks
