Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer. Location: London, Greater London. Salary / Benefits £24k - £36k + Training + Benefits We are working closely with one of the UKs leading providers of Water Hygiene / Legionella management services. They are now looking to take on a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover contracts across London / Home Counties. You will be working on Commercial and Industrial sites, conducting L8 compliance duties ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. You will also be responsible for filling out onsite logbooks in a timely manner upon completion of work. Candidates will have good access to London and surrounding areas: Cheshunt, Enfield, Harlow, Hertford, Bishop's Stortford, Luton, Aylesbury, Hemel Hempstead, Watford, Slough, Windsor, Reading, High Wycombe, Bracknell, Guildford, Woking, Basingstoke, Brentwood, Basildon, Chelmsford, Maldon, Southend-on-Sea. Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience working on Commercial and Industrial sites, conducting L8 compliance duties for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
  • Extensive knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
  • IT literate.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work well independently and with others.
  • Organising workload in line with company / client needs.
The Role:
  • Water sampling.
  • Temperature monitoring.
  • TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
  • Showerhead descales and disinfection.
  • Flushing of little used outlets.
  • CWST cleans and disinfections.
  • Conducting closed system sampling and analysis.
  • Cleans and disinfections of cooling towers.
  • Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
  • Ensuring to fill out onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
