Welcome to The Lord Nelson in Jarrow This charming one-bar venue is perfect for enjoying a drink, a meal with the family, or catching the game with friends. We've got a spacious marquee in our lovely beer garden, complete with four huts equipped with TVs too.
With a fantastic mix of delicious food, a wide selection of draught beers, and a variety of spirits, The Lord Nelson appeals to locals and visitors of all ages, including families with children. It’s the ideal spot for a great night out or a relaxed afternoon.
Located on Monkton Lane in the heart of Monton Village, Hebburn, The Lord Nelson is famous for its live bands every Saturday, drawing fans from near and far. Our annual “Bandfest Gig Weekend” every August bank holiday is a highlight not to be missed.
The marquee in our beer garden is also perfect for hosting events, making us a versatile venue for any occasion. Plus, with our comprehensive sports package, you can catch all the action both inside and out.
Our Area Manager, Paul Potts is on the lookout for a General Manager with a competitive streak and a winning mentality, a can-do attitude is needed to take The Lord Nelson to the next level.
Paul wants someone who can be the life of the party, able to build strong relationships with the local community to attract new patrons and keep our regulars happy. With a focus on high standards, exceptional food and drink, and a top-notch customer experience, you’ll be set for success.
