They serve over 21,000 Accountancy Practices, 11,000 education organisations and more than 80,000 small and mid-sized businesses, corporates, and payroll bureaus across a wide range of industry sectors.
The primary focus of the role will be selling the benefits and demonstrating our Finance Software Solution (iFinance) to prospect and existing schools in the UK and internationally. The role will involve working with our Account Management and New Business Teams on leads and opportunities to support the progression and closing of sales opportunities. The role will also work with the Marketing Team on campaigns and in support of events to generate iFinance leads. The role will have overall responsibility for the iFinance target into both our existing base and new business prospects (software and services) for the Independent and International Education Schools Sector.
You will also be required to attend School Association and relevant Exhibitions/Conferences both in the UK and abroad
Take ownership of the sales plan to deliver the annual sales target for iFinance
Support the account managers and New Business Team with leads and opportunities
Attend onsite and TEAMs meeting to support discovery calls and demonstrations
To support the Bids team and contribute to formal tenders as required
Liaise with the sales teams to develop specific sales strategies and help build dedicated proposition for key accounts
Work with product and product marketing to make sure the sales team are aware, trained and have access to all available resources
Report on iFinance opportunity pipeline and support Sales Management to ensure up to date and accurate
Support webinars/campaigns/events in conjunction with the marketing department to generate leads
To maintain a deep and excellent understanding of our finance solutions and our business in order to inform schools about system developments (features/functionality/products/services) and relevant company news, highlighting the value to them.
Develop and maintain a sales plan detailing your approach to achieving targets. Be able to speak confidently about all your sales opportunities, current status and their progress as required.
Confidently negotiate sales agreements to ensure maximum sales order value whilst delivering value for our customers.
Function as the voice of the customer with internal departments and provide feedback on how our finance solutions can better serve schools.
Keep up to date with educational, market and competitor developments in order to speak to schools with confidence and credibility. Use this information to make sound commercial decisions.
Preferably holds an undergraduate degree (or equivalent)
An AAT qualification or equivalent is required. Successful sales or pre-sales experience of working with financial software, preferably SaaS product
Good commercial, negotiation and influencing skills
Self-motivated team player who has fresh ideas when it comes to user adoption for increasing sales
Confident using MS Office and Salesforce (the latter is advantageous)
Current valid UK driving licence.
