Our client is a leading engineering and infrastructure organisation delivering complex, high-value projects across the UK energy sector. Renowned for innovation, sustainability, and technical excellence, they specialise in automation, controls, and instrumentation upgrades that modernise the nation's most critical infrastructure.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee major automation and controls upgrade projects across energy and utilities.

As a Project Manager , you will lead the delivery of complex controls, automation, and instrumentation projects from inception through to completion. You will manage project governance, planning, cost, quality, and risk to ensure successful outcomes aligned with NEC contracts and CDM regulations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven project professional with strong technical understanding of automation or energy infrastructure and proven experience delivering under NEC3 or NEC4 frameworks.

Lead the end-to-end delivery of automation, controls, and instrumentation projects.
Manage project governance, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting in line with NEC3/NEC4.
Oversee risk, change, and quality management throughout the project lifecycle.
Engage with stakeholders, clients, and suppliers to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
Proven experience managing projects under NEC3 or NEC4 contracts.
Demonstrable experience delivering energy, utilities, rail, or major infrastructure projects.
Solid understanding of CDM and delivering projects within regulated environments.
Work on technically challenging, meaningful projects that drive real impact.
