Due to expansion, *Cotswold Porsche Specialists Ltd*, a well regarded independent Porsche specialists have an exciting opportunity for an experienced *Vehicle Service Technician / Mechanic* to join their team.

Our business is tight knit. Our workshop currently has three experienced technicians, managed by a workshop controller and supported by a service administrator. We have in excess of 1500 customers who expect the highest levels of service and attention.

We are based in *Toddington, Gloucestershire* between Evesham, Tewkesbury and Cheltenham. There is no public transport.

You must hold the *NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification or equivalent*, be hardworking, able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision and have the ability to fit into a small professional team.

Prestige car and main dealer experience is desirable. You must have experience of using diagnostic equipment. A full UK driving license is required.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday 8.00am – 16:30pm although flexibility is required.

*Job Description:*
* Carrying out vehicle maintenance and repairs on the full range of Porsche models
* Fault diagnosis together with recommendations for repair
* Maintaining a high level of vehicle knowledge
* To perform all work assigned in a timely manner, economically and to Company and Manufacturers standards.
* To advise the workshop controller if additional work is required on a vehicle and seek their assistance and authority in the rectification of faults.
* To maintain a high level of competence for the work to be undertaken by undergoing on-site training, attending courses at suppliers and manufacturers and reading technical bulletins as required
* To discuss with customers, problems with the vehicle as requested.
* To ensure the Company image of professionalism and quality of service is maintained when dealing with customers.
* To operate equipment and carry out all duties in a safe manner.
* To maintain equipment, protective clothing and work areas in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
* To assist management with the introduction of new methods of work designed to improve efficiency
* To carry out any other duties as required

*Relevant Experience & Qualifications:*
* Vehicle Technician: 5 years (Preferred)
* NVQ Level 3 qualified or equivalent.
* Previous experience within a main dealer is desirable although not essential.
* Be able to comply with all company and manufacturers disciplines and procedures

*License or certification:*
* Full Clean Driving License (Required)
