About the Crown Prosecution Service
At the Crown Prosecution Service, we are responsible for delivering justice through the independent and effective prosecution of crime. As the principal prosecuting authority across England and Wales, the nature and diversity of cases we advise on and prosecute means our work is often emotionally challenging and complex. Casework assistants have a crucial role helping us to secure justice for victims of crime. Your customer service helps to maintain public confidence in our work – you respond professionally to queries and ensure that any issues are escalated promptly.
We provide full training and a range of learning and development opportunities to support your career progression. Excellent written, verbal and digital communication skills are essential – including knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.
