Job Title: CarpentryTutor / Trainer (Trainee or Qualified)
Location: Centre based
Salary: up to £34,000
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Essential Criteria:
Must hold your own Level 2 NVQ inCarpentry.
Have experience ofdeliveringtraining on the job or workshops to 1-1 / groups of learners
Willingness to work towards PTLLS/AET - fully funded and supported by employer.
Confident to deliver in a classroom/workshop based setting.
Must hold solid occupational competency withinCarpentry.
Must be IT Literate.
Duties include:
Teach/assess learners working towards a vocational qualification inCarpentrywithin a classroom-based environment.
Ensure sessions are motivating,engaging and develop learners'skills knowledge and behaviours
Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
Provide advice and guidance to learnersrelating to decision making and progression.
Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners needs.
Personal Skills:
Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
