Intermediate Mechanical Engineer - Building Services / HVAC design. £40k plus London

Your new company This built environment consultancy is a recognised expert in low-carbon and sustainable solutions. Working on buildings, urban regeneration, masterplans, and more. They work out of a spacious office in the heart of London on projects across London and internationally. With a creative and dynamic team, and wide variety of project types, and clear plans for growth ahead, they can offer a busy and rewarding career path. Due to a successful year and strong project pipeline for the new year, they are now looking to expand with the addition of an intermediate level Mechanical Engineer

Your new role You will be joining as an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer, joining an already well-established team. You will take a lead role on a number of residential projects across London, with a specific focus on earlier stage design from stage 1 through to 2. You will lead several more junior engineers, assisting their development and ensuring the quality of their work. You will be supported by a team of creative and experienced engineers. Your role will be client-facing, and you will regularly take part in client meetings and meetings with other design professionals.

What you'll need to succeed A background in HVAC design ideally within a UK based Consultancy. You will need to be based within commuting distance of London although they offer hybrid working you will be doing two days in the office on average. You will have a recognised educational background within building services engineering and you will have worked on complex designs within any sector
