Biomedical Engineer

Our client is a highly successful healthcare company based in Peterborough is seeking a Biomedical Engineer to join their team. The purpose of the role is to provide daily on-site medical devices repairs, preventative maintenance and asset management to contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within specified hospital location. Build long term relationships with customers, subcontractors and staff to ensure responsiveness and superior customer service.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines
Complete repairs as required on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines
Support customers whenever needed to ensure minimal disruption to the operation of the hospital.
Travel to various sites as required to perform Corrective and Preventive Maintenance
Maintain safe working practices within the hospital environment
HNC in Electrical Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Qualification in Engineering, electronics or medical technologies such as biomedical engineering.
2 -5 Years in healthcare environment with experience on medical equipment in the UK
Familiar with a broad range of medical devices
25 days annual leave + bank holidays
After successfully completing 6-month probation period, enrolment into Death in Service scheme (4x salary)
