We need an AWE some Finance Senior Business Partner to join our Finance Business Team here at AWE Nuclear Security Research.
Location: Our offices are based in Berkshire, RG7 4PR between Reading and Basingstoke with onsite parking.
Each day is different for a Finance Senior Business Partner , you’ll never be bored We are currently embarking on one of the biggest and most exciting projects in Europe and you will play a BIG part in this.
A typical day for a Finance Senior Business Partner could look like this:
Building great relationships in complex environments
Leading numerous teams to balance resources to enable financial information and insight to be provided to drive business performance
Delivering improvements in financial awareness and acumen across AWE
Providing constructive challenge, scrutiny, insight and analysis to the Business/Budget Holders on their financial plans and programmes.
Interfacing and reporting effectively with key stakeholders across and outside the business
A business leadership role
Leading, managing and integrating different financial teams
Influencing sound business strategies to deliver savings and efficiencies
Dealing with complex business issues.
Proficiency with a cost management tools / business systems
Great rapport building and listening skills
Working in a finance environment
Having operated in a similar or related role, ideally in Defence/MOD/ Nuclear or Regulated
